Privacy Policy
Sodalite does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Summary
Sodalite is a self-hosted media player. It connects only to servers you choose (your Jellyfin server, optionally a Seerr instance). It contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. The developer never sees, receives, or has access to any data about your usage.
What the app stores on your device
- Server credentials (Jellyfin / Seerr URL, access token, session cookie, optionally your password) in the system Keychain. Used to keep you signed in across restarts.
- Settings (playback, appearance, home rows, parental controls, etc.) in UserDefaults.
- Image cache (posters, backdrops downloaded from your Jellyfin server) in the app's local cache directory. Cleared by the system when storage is low or when you uninstall the app.
- Diagnostic log kept in memory and, only if you turn it on, in a local file. It never leaves the device unless you export or copy it yourself.
What the app sends over the network
Only the requests required to function:
- HTTPS / HTTP requests to your Jellyfin server (login, library listings, playback info, media segments, session reports).
- HTTPS / HTTP requests to your optional Seerr server (browse, request, status).
- Image downloads from those same servers.
No data is sent to the developer or any third party. There are no analytics endpoints, no crash reporting services, no advertising networks.
iCloud sync
If iCloud sync is on (it can be turned off in Settings), your servers, sign-in data and settings are stored in your private iCloud database so your other devices can use them. That database belongs to your Apple Account and is operated by Apple; the developer cannot read it.
Purchases
The optional Supporter Pack and tips are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app only checks with Apple whether a purchase exists; the developer receives no personal data from it.
Third-party services
Sodalite does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
The Jellyfin and Seerr servers you connect to are operated by you or by whoever you choose to trust. They are outside the scope of this policy. Refer to the privacy policy of those server operators if you connect to a third-party instance.
Children
Sodalite does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear at this URL and the App Store listing will reference the new revision date.

- HTTPS-/HTTP-Anfragen an deinen Jellyfin-Server (Login, Bibliotheks-Listen, Playback-Infos, Media-Segmente, Session-Berichte).
- HTTPS-/HTTP-Anfragen an deinen optionalen Seerr-Server (Browse, Request, Status).
